Spending most of my growing years in Europe, I took for granted the public transit system- especially the trains. We went back a few years ago and my love for sitting by the window as cities and farms rolled past was quickly rekindled. Road trips are great you can stop whenever you want, and if the desire hits you, you can always adjust your compass and go in another direction. But trains? They afford you the opportunity to really see everything- the lazy sheep in the meadow, the farmer working the land, the sky, the endless sky with its sunsets that no photo can ever properly recreate!

So, if you’re like me, and you want to go go go, but you also want to see it all- try taking the train next time!
